２日目／ローマ１
<2009・10/14～10/28＞
イタリア語のラリルレロといえばやはり
舌を巻いていきたいところですが
レッスンを受け出した当初関東出身の受付嬢から
関西の方は巻舌が上手だから
と言われたけれどわれぇ、おんどりゃぁ
なんてそないに聞いたことないし
私は一度も言うたことがなかったけれどななんと
言われた通り巻舌は難なくでき
できはしてもなんだか恥ずかしくってなかなか
発音することはできなかったけれどイタリアに着いてしまえば
恥ずかしさなど皆無で
もっと舌を巻かせろぉと
夢夢子にひとつもラ行が入っていないことを悔やみ
これからはミドルネームを入れ
夢・ラララ・夢子にしようと思っています

誰がなんと言おうとぽっちゃりです
ローマ初日ということで
ザ・ローマという場所へ
と思いコロッセオへ向かうため乗ったメトロ
不純な動機で始めたイタリア語が実った
とこの時すでに感じたのは
周りを見渡せば濃い顔好きの私にはパラディーゾ
それはパラダイスで
言葉じゃなかったんだ
ここに来たかったんだ
としみじみ会話らしい会話はまだしていないけれど
一人旅を後押ししてくれたことにもう満足して
コロッセオも外観だけで私にはじゅうぶんです
とブチャラティvsセッコはこの辺りかな
とどこまでも不純な動機は連なって

再びブチャラティvsセッコはここかしら
とヴィットリオ・エマヌエーレ２世記念碑の前や
ヴェネツィア広場の真ん中に立ってみるけれど
本当にここなのか
という都会具合に、
そりゃローマは都会なのですが
少々驚いては初ムゼーオ、カピトリーノ美術館へ
今旅のお楽しみアートは彫刻で
この迷路のような美術館で見た
今から戦いそうなのに裸
という作品にすぐ狙われちゃうヨ
と疑問持ちつつチルコ・マッシモで水すすっては
眼下に広がる緑に午前の朝陽が眩しすぎて

今日、今まで撮った写真が
全て逆光であると気づいたトレヴィの泉で
撮ってもらった写真も逆光だったけれど
なんとかコイン放り投げ自分も写真に収まれ
あんなにも注意を促されていたスリの心配も
全く感じることなくデジカメをポッケに入れ
カブール駅付近でパニーニ頬張っては
駅近くやスーペルでお買い物しているとき
どうしても試着というイタリア語が出てこず
服を指差しトラーイと言えばフィッティングに通され
言葉の壁ってもしかして、まぼろし？
と思った私の一人旅は無事、続いていきます

イタリアからの贈り物
その後バルベリーニ広場近くにある
サンタ・マリア・デッラ・コンチェツィオーネ教会は
通称、骸骨寺へ
すべて人骨で装飾されているのだけれど
恐さや気持ち悪さなど全くなく
美しく並ぶ頭蓋骨やどこかわからない骨ホネにうっとり綺麗
しかし頭蓋骨が思いのほか小さかったので外国人だからかしら
と周りの観光客らと自分をまじまじ見比べては
近くのバルにてティラミスを食べたのですが
忘れもしません初めてティラミスを食べた日のこと
確かあれは私がローティーンだった頃
甘すぎず少しお酒の味がするそれを口にした私は
大人の階段をひとつ上ったと感じたあのときの感覚が再び
甦るかと思いきやななんと
私が今まで食べてきたティラミスとは違いお酒の味がほとんどせず
別のスウィーツと言っても過言ではないけれど
グンバツのおいしさ新感覚
ああ誰か浮き足立つ私を引き戻してちょうだい
なんて本心ではないこと呟いてフォークをぺろり

一人旅最大の難所と思っていた夕飯もおいしくいただき
食後のカップッチーノを持ってきた定員に
ミルクのハートは僕が書いたんだよ
とウィンクされたら私のお目目がハートに
なんとかなるもんだねぇ
と他人事のように思った今日をニヤついた顔で終えて
